1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, requesting our services, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Filtration Brothers LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Filtration Brothers") provides water filtration installation, maintenance, and sales services in the Greater Houston area and surrounding service areas as listed on our locations page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into contracts for our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

Services Offered

We provide:

• Installation of all types of water filtration products
• Maintenance services for water filtration systems
• Sale of water filtration products and equipment
• Water testing and consultation services
• Emergency water issue response

Service Areas

We provide services in the Greater Houston area and additional locations as listed on our website's locations page. Service availability outside listed areas may be confirmed by calling (832) 844-7678.

4. Pricing and Payment

Payment Terms

• Deposit Required: 50% deposit is required to schedule appointment and reserve equipment
• Balance Due: Remaining 50% is collected after installation and orientation completion
• Financing: Customers choosing financing must be approved by ISPC before installation can commence

Accepted Payment Methods

• Cash
• ACH transfer
• Credit card (processed through Stripe)
• Financing through ISPC (subject to approval)

Payment Processing

We do not store payment information. All credit card transactions are processed securely through Stripe, and financing is handled directly through ISPC.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Texas Right to Cancel

In accordance with Texas law, customers have a 3-day right to cancel from the date of contract signing.

Cancellation Terms

• Before Installation: Full refund of deposit minus any equipment restocking fees if applicable
• After Installation Commenced: Customer is responsible for all labor and material costs incurred to date, regardless of cancellation
• Appointment Cancellation: We request at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations, though no penalties are imposed

6. Warranties and Guarantees

Product Warranties

• Maytag™ Water Treatment Systems: Lifetime limited warranty through manufacturer and lifetime service through Filtration Brothers
• Other Brand Products: 1-year manufacturer warranty and lifetime support through Filtration Brothers

Service Warranty

We warrant our installation workmanship and will address any installation-related problems at no additional charge.

Warranty Limitations

• Customer is responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
• Replacement parts for Maytag systems are covered through manufacturer warranty
• Warranty claims should be initiated by calling (832) 844-7678 or emailing houston@filtrationbrothers.com

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information for service delivery
• Ensure safe access to installation/service areas
• Make timely payments as agreed
• Properly maintain equipment according to provided instructions
• Not misuse or damage equipment through negligence
• Notify us promptly of any equipment issues

8. Liability Limitations

Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, OUR SERVICES AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILTRATION BROTHERS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Water Quality Disclaimer

While our systems are designed to improve water quality, we make no guarantees regarding specific health outcomes or water quality metrics unless explicitly stated in writing for your specific system.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Filtration Brothers LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or damage caused by your misuse of equipment.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Filtration Brothers LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Dispute Resolution

Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in Harris County, Texas.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Third-Party Services

Financing

Financing through ISPC is subject to their separate terms and conditions. We are not responsible for financing decisions or terms set by ISPC.

Licensed Plumbers

Installation services may be performed by various licensed master plumbers. Specific licensing information will be provided in individual customer contracts.

15. Communications

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive:

• Service-related communications
• Appointment reminders
• Marketing communications (you may opt-out at any time)

Communications may be sent via email through Google Workspace or managed through our Pipedrive CRM system.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any individual service contracts, constitute the entire agreement between you and Filtration Brothers LLC regarding our services.
